La Demeure de Chemonton: larger gatherings

Five bedrooms across two floors, including two 25 m² suites, and a large ground-floor dining room. Rue Chemonton is pedestrianised: the castle, restaurants and shops are within walking distance, letting everyone come and go at their own pace.

La Maison des Chalands: two apartments under one roof

The Loft upstairs and La Chambrée on the ground floor each have a kitchen, living room and bathroom. Your group can gather at the Loft’s large table, facing the Loire, while each family keeps its own space at night.

Le Cottage de Chitenay: countryside with a pool

Three bedrooms and a sleeping area on the landing, a table for ten and a fireplace for winter. Outside, enjoy an enclosed garden, heated pool from May to September and year-round hot tub. Cheverny is a short drive away and Blois is around 25 minutes away.

More than 15 guests? Two houses, two addresses

For 16 to 28 guests, La Demeure de Chemonton and La Maison des Chalands can be booked for the same dates if both are available.

The houses are neither on the same site nor adjoining. Chemonton is in the historic centre; Les Chalands is in Vienne, across the Loire. Travel between them crosses the Jacques-Gabriel bridge: account for these journeys when planning your stay.

The combined capacity of 28 refers to beds across two addresses; it does not mean one house can seat 28 people at the table. Write to us with your dates and plans so we can check whether this arrangement suits you.

What is provided for your group

Beds are made and towels prepared for the number of guests booked.
End-of-stay cleaning is included in the compulsory fee: €150 for cleaning and linen per house per stay.
Each kitchen includes cookware, utensils, salt, pepper and oil.
Each house has a table suited to its own guest capacity.

At Chemonton and Les Chalands, Nathalie contacts you after booking to prepare sleeping arrangements and arrival. At the Cottage, Emmanuelle introduces the house, pool and hot tub after you arrive.

Before you book

Parties are not permitted. Our houses welcome family gatherings, weekends with friends and holidays with several families.
Generally a two-night minimum; longer stays apply during some holidays, festive periods and long weekends.
Payment: 40% when booking and 60% one month before arrival.
Free cancellation until one month before arrival; later conditions depend on notice. Read the booking terms.
A security deposit is requested by card pre-authorisation on arrival day.

Can we allocate bedrooms before arrival?

Yes. Each house’s page includes floor plans, and at Chemonton and Les Chalands Nathalie helps organise sleeping arrangements after booking.

How much does a group stay cost?

The price depends on dates and guest numbers. The booking process shows the stay and fee breakdown before payment. For a price per person per night, divide the total by the actual number of guests and nights: fewer guests increases the amount per person.

Can we bring young children?

Yes. Two travel cots are available on request at Chemonton. Les Chalands has two travel cots and two high chairs. At the Cottage, both upstairs bedrooms each have a cot. Tell us your needs before arrival.

Where can we park several cars?

At Chemonton, the street is pedestrianised: plan nearby parking, such as Château or Jean-Jaurès. At Les Chalands, street spaces are public and free. At the Cottage, one car can enter the garden and there are numerous free public spaces in front of the house. Public spaces are not reserved.
